Angel Investor warn, “KNOW YOUR MARKET”
A business Angel is an individual whom assist and
provide capital for a business start-up. Starting a new business can be a great
opportunity when there are enough funds to get off the ground. I found two
expert investors that are veterans in the angel-investing world. The first
expert is, David Rose an angel investor based out of New York. David
Rose is founder of the Rose Tech Ventures an early stage investment fund
company. He is known as ‘super investor that advises his team to dig hard and
open every avenue of competitors’ information before positioning ones self into
a new business venture. Additionally, his company Rose tech ventures are
dedicated to find, nurture and launch the next generation of world class
ventures. David Rose is an Inc. 500 CEO, known as a serial entrepreneur and
that’s how he got his name 'Super angel' investor. Above is a video of David
Rose advising new business sectors, to know and thoroughly research your market.
There are many other angel investors, Fred Destin is another well know
and respected venture capitalist that has a great deal of history in the
business of investing. Fred Destin has been a Partner at Atlas Venture since 2004,
where he focuses on technology-enabled services and consumer facing innovation.
He helps build companies from the ground up. Mr. Destin was previously an
Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and also worked at JP Morgan in hybrid
derivatives, but has never looked back since deciding to jump into innovation
and entrepreneurship http://futurem2012.sched.org). Fred currently
serves on the Boards of Atlas portfolio companies AdSafe Media, Dailymotion,
EnglishCentral, Inspirational Stores, Kinvey, Plizy, Recorded Future, Seatwave,
The Currency Cloud and Zoopla http://futurem2012.sched.org. The interesting
thing is that that both of these investors share the long history of advisor
ship within business investor venture field. In essence the key components
expert look for in a start up business plan is the ability to find companies
that appear likely to grow 30% to 40% annually and then be bought or go public.
Additionally, investors favor plans that has a profitable exit strategy.
According to Jim Melloan of inc.com, estimate that only10% to 15% of private
companies fit that description.
